Taking a break from Bespoke

Sunday, 6 June 2010
Im afraid Ive had another bout of realising that I do infact only have 2 hands, 3 brain cells, 1 heart and only 24 hours in each day... everyday.

I nearly missed the blue sea of the woods, Ive been that busy rushing about like a Mr Men story...

I need time to see more of these too...
And do you know what? Im going to give myself permission to slow down a bit. Fancy!
Ive finally decided that its OK for me to sell stock only on Fairysteps. It may even be better for customers not having to go on waiting lists. Ive done it before, I know, and then I come back to it and then I do it again! Its all OK!

And my love of Fairysteps can sit happily next to life.

I shall plough on with my orders pile now and make these treasures that so many generous people have ordered from me. Thank you everyone!

  2. I think you can be more creative when your not trying to please other people all the time, enjoy yourself.I shall keep my eyes peeled in the shop.

  3. I agree with all previous posts--life is simply to beautiful and precious to miss. Right now, I am in your boat, but am trying to figure which string to cut so I, too, can marvel at the actualities of life, instead of this crazy man-made "busy" nonsense! Good for you for giving yourself permission to love life! And what a beautiful life you do LIVE! And I'm sure your loyal customers will await your return!

  4. I thnk you're amazing for all that you do and accomplish in a day. Your creativity is inspiring and your enthusiasm for your family, nature and your craft is infectious. I highly doubt anyone will hold it against you to not do bespoke. Your stock items are lovely and worth the wait! Take care and enjoy everything life brings.
