Did I mention I had TWO birthday teas?
To have one feast is special... but TWO...
The first party had signposted food... orchestrated by Littlest...
I was guided down the passage to the kitchen with eyes tightly shut...
Where fondant fancies and jellies and all manner of goodies vied for my attention...
We had Summer on the table, even if it was icing...
The cake was green... and blue...
And had a squirrel on top... which I set fire to with a match... and then blew him out... then made a wish...
Party number TWO made by Middlest was another teacup and treats affair...
Swans swam on a cherry plate... she made them so perfectly!
Homemade fondant fancies were dribbled with sunshine...
And we had savoury tarts and sandwiches and trifles and all manner of yummies...
I was quite overcome by it all! Wishing everyone birthday teas as special as these...

ReplyDeleteLucky you! SO much love in these pictures! And I have to say, the tea parties look sprung from a fairy tale--I've never SEEN swan puffs! Quite clever! Happiest of Birthdays!
