Just had an interesting conversation with bestest friend about how colour affects mood. Ive always felt that what we wear, most notably what colour we wear each day can have a huge impact on our feelings. So with that in mind heres a little snapshot of me today...
Couldn't resist a few things from the Boden sale...
And from this strange perspective I look like a dolly with a giant head. Plus its spotting with rain and it makes me look like I have a bad case of dandruff... Which I dont, but I thought I ought to mention it...!
BUT with these cheerful colours on my person today, I am smiling and because of this I feel the need to do something smiley like making fairy cakes...
Ren x

What a wonderful choice of smiley colours, but now I need to go and make some fairy cakes too!!!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite colours ever... although it is hard to choose as I love them all.
ReplyDeleteBy the way I would like to shyly tell you that I am hosting a giveaway which, I think, may interest you....
Best wishes,
Stephanie
ps If you were to make up some plum, yellow, or rose coloured size 7 shoes I would snap them up in a second ;-)
Ren, as usual you are so right. I'm just off to rearrange my wardrobe so that I pick more colourful items.
ReplyDeleteOh and I love fairycakes too, but they will have too wait.
This is such an interesting perspective. I don't wear a lot of color. I think mostly because if I'm working on something in the studio that is a color that clashes with what I'm wearing, because it is all in my line of sight at once, I get discouraged by the discord. So I tend to dress in white, grey, black, or brown. I usually incorporate color in the form of a cardigan because it's an easy item to remove in the studio.
ReplyDeleteThat and my skin tone never works with my favorite colors. :)
This definitely gives me something to think about though. Thanks! Good post!
P.S. I LOVE Boden...get so excited when that little catalog shows up in my mailbox.
