Ive had a busy afternoon! Went out across the Moors to visit an animal shelter to see if they had a dog that would like a home in Fairysteps Land… Lady Fate smiled widely and Jack Sprat was waiting to meet us all! We are booked for a home visit tomorrow to see if we tick all the boxes and if we do, we can collect him on Saturday! Soooo excited! I grew up with dogs but have never had one as an adult. Cats, sheep, chickens, ducks, pigs, geese, ponies… yes, but, dogs no. Not yet anyway!
Alas… our little Jack has eaten all of the fat and has all the appearance of a burnt sausage roll… but lots of walks will sort that out!
Keep fingers crossed for us that we can bring him home!
