Rather than moping that another fledgling has flown, I have decided to embrace change and redorate Eldest’s old room. Did have plans of buying new bed, etc, etc. .. but decided that wasting money was not an option. Plus, it’s a good opportunity to utilize furniture already in the house. Sort of de cluttering spreading!
So much to do in here. Had been rather damp so lots of scrubbing, sanding, stain blocking, caulking, undercoating, etc before I even get the top coat on! Arms feel like dropping off.

Going for plain white. Already have a pair of vintage curtains in white with red roses on. Antique mahogany bed with matching dressing table and a lloyd loom chair to furnish.
I started a new crochet blanket for the bed last night.
