This was strange to film for me, because I do it so often I really don't think what Im doing anymore. Like many makers, I go on autopilot. I think thats why doing any manual job is quite therapeutic. You can be lost in the task. It was interesting for me to see how much I fuss over the leather before marking! Hides are covered in flaws, simply because its a natural product. They can be front or back, and really sneaky flaws can sometimes hide in the light...
If this keeps you wide awake because you are finding it interesting then I'm so glad I made it. If on the other hand, it makes you go to sleep, then thats an extra bonus, relaxing is always good ;)
