Soul cakes

Here they are in all their glory!
Sadly there are very few left now, the family has demolished them, split, toasted and buttered. Tradition has it that they were left in a warm kitchen on the table, overnight on the 2nd november for departed souls to feast on. Rather a nice gesture to lost loved ones!
