I bought new socks with rosebuds on...
Littlest and I had a tiny tea party at the start of the week...
And a whopper near the end...
Lots of goodies...
Hot cheese and onion tarts... homegrown tomatoes...
Followed up with mini battenburgs and jam tarts and fondant fancies and jelly and cream...
A shy Granpa attended...
And middlest cut off my hair...
What a week!

Ooooooooooo. I love the socks.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a beautiful tea party spread. We have a shy Grandpa that visits us!
ReplyDeleteDoesn't it feel great to have a haircut. Gets rid of the cobwebs.
Lovely to see your house Ren and your beautiful family. Those girls really look like you don't they?! I have a shelf with colourful teapots too. I love the yellow cardigan you're wearing and you let your daughter cut your hair - very brave! I thought you were growing it?

Mmmm, I can almost smell that tea! I see you have nasturtiums running riot in your garden too! They've just about taken over completely here, but they won't last, the summer heat always knocks them sideways. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the home grown tomatoes; we haven't been able to get enough sun here in Seattle to turn them red.
ReplyDeleteOh what a magic world !! I love that !!

Looks like great merriment to me! And I must say, I'd give a good bit of money to attend your teas and suppers, you create such superb foods and desserts. Hope good fun was had by all!
